Editorial Policies and Ethics

General Responsibilities of the Editor

  1. The editor holds the ultimate authority for the selection, review, and publication of articles submitted to the journal.

  2. The editorial team endeavours to meet the needs of authors and readers, maintaining the quality, integrity, and relevance of the journal through continual improvement.

  3. Editors must be responsive to valid corrections, revisions, or retractions when necessary and should provide constructive feedback to authors for further enhancement of their manuscripts.

  4. Editorial evaluation will be based solely on the academic merit, originality, and relevance of the content—not on the author’s identity, gender, institutional affiliation, philosophical orientation, or nationality.

  5. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for selecting qualified reviewers and guiding them regarding the evaluation criteria and ethical standards expected during the review process.

  6. Editors may consult with other editorial board members or reviewers when additional expertise is required for a fair and informed decision.

  7. Any manuscript found to contain plagiarised content or fabricated data will be rejected outright. Authors must ensure their submissions are original, accurate, and free from plagiarism or duplication.

  8. Editors must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all manuscripts and may share details only with authorised reviewers, the publisher, or the corresponding author.

  9. Editors must not use any unpublished material disclosed in a submitted manuscript for their own research without the explicit written consent of the author.

  10. All editorial actions must comply with accepted standards of ethical and legal conduct in scholarly publishing.

General Responsibilities of Reviewers

  1. Reviewers are entrusted with evaluating manuscripts objectively, ensuring the paper’s adherence to the journal’s guidelines, relevance, and academic integrity.

  2. They must ensure that all non-peer-reviewed sections of the journal are clearly identified as such.

  3. Reviewers are selected by the Editor and should remain anonymous to both the author and the publisher to preserve impartiality.

  4. If a reviewer feels unqualified to assess a manuscript or cannot complete the review within the allotted time, they must promptly inform the Editor.

  5. All information contained in manuscripts under review must be treated as strictly confidential and must not be discussed or shared with anyone outside the review process.

  6. Reviews should be objective, evidence-based, and free of personal criticism. Comments for authors should be clear, specific, and designed to assist in improving the manuscript.

  7. If plagiarism, data falsification, or ethical misconduct is suspected, the reviewer must immediately notify the Editor.

  8. Reviewers must not use unpublished data, arguments, or interpretations from a manuscript for their own research or personal advantage.

  9. Review-related data and materials must be securely preserved and never used for personal or professional gain.

  10. Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest to the Editor before accepting a review assignment.

General Responsibilities of Authors

  1. Authors must ensure that their research is accurately represented, with appropriate data, methods, results, discussions, and references.

  2. Quantitative analyses must be clearly and precisely presented, reflecting sound statistical practices.

  3. Authors are required to maintain and, upon request, provide raw data and supporting information relevant to their study to facilitate verification by reviewers or editors.

  4. After publication, authors should ensure that their work remains accessible for at least ten years to allow for scholarly reference and verification.

  5. All submissions must be original, clear, and free from plagiarism. Any manuscript found to be copied or duplicated from previously published works will be rejected.

  6. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and will not be tolerated.

  7. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript before submission.

  8. Authors must promptly notify the editor of any significant errors or inaccuracies discovered after submission or publication and cooperate in issuing corrections or retractions as needed.

  9. All sources of financial support or sponsorship must be disclosed. Any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of the research should be declared at the submission stage.

  10. Authors must comply with all ethical standards related to research integrity, authorship, and scholarly transparency.
