It gives us immense pleasure to present the inaugural issue of the International Journal of Language, Literature and Social Science (IJLLSS), a peer-reviewed open-access platform dedicated to fostering critical and interdisciplinary scholarship across the humanities and social sciences. This journal emerges from the conviction that the pursuit of knowledge must transcend disciplinary boundaries and engage with the dynamic intersections between language, culture, and society.

In a rapidly globalising world, the study of language and literature continues to illuminate the complexities of human identity, communication, and imagination, while the social sciences offer essential frameworks to interpret the political, cultural, and ethical dimensions of our shared existence. The convergence of these fields not only enhances academic discourse but also enables scholars to respond thoughtfully to the challenges of the contemporary world — from cultural representation and gender discourse to digital transformation and social equity.
